The company ECCO Shoes had to devise the most effective online strategy to convey the new minted category platform ‘The Comfort to Express your Style.” The shoe brand was perceived differently in the various regions of the world. In Japan, ECCO shoes were considered highly fashionable whereas in the regions of Western Europe the shoes were considered less fashionable and were even called granny shoes.
